Mangosteen
The fruit of the mangosteen tree. The skin of the mangosteen is not edible. It covers a reddish inedible membrane that encloses the flesh. This pearly white flesh is juicy and sweet, with an exquisite flavor. It divides into segments that sometimes contain an edible pit.
